Hey Sammers!

Just a reminder that we’re having a Korean BBQ fundraiser on Tuesday! Our booth will be on Ring Road at the corner of the Cross Cultural Center side closest to Gateway Study Center. We’ll be selling delicious Korean BBQ from 10-3 or until we sell out. If you’re interested in helping out we definitely need people to help set up and clean up! We will be setting up at around 9 so come by the booth and lend a hand and grab something to eat! I hope to see you all on Tuesday!

Last month’s Tres Reyes was a great success. Thanks to all of your help with wrapping gifts, donating clothes and shoes, and attending the trip! We are looking forward to another great trip this month on Saturday February 20th. The window for our trip has officially opened and will close Wednesday, February 10th at 5:00 PM. Sign up asap, especially if you can drive or translate, we will be needing your help! You can sign up, like always, at this link . We are always collecting donations for our patients from clothes and shoes, to bedding and household items. We are able to pick up any donations at your convenience. It’s time for the second general meeting of winter quarter. We will be having a MEDICAL SPANISH AND TRIAGE LEARNING ACTIVITY. Learn what we do in Mexico. This activity will include:

*Learning Medical Spanish Terms and Phrases
*Learning How to Take Vitals (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respiration Rate, etc.)
*Prizes!

I hope you all are having a wonderful new year and a pleasant first couple weeks of the quarter. Every year, we celebrate the holiday of Tres Reyes with the El Testerazo commmunity. We distribute numerous donations of all kinds on this day as well as holiday gifts to the many children of our clinic, all in addition to normal medical and dental clinic activities. This trip is traditionally very busy and patients travel from many surrounding cities to attend. We are pleased to anounce that the window for our Tres Reyes Holiday trip has officially opened and will close Monday January 11th at 5:00 PM. Sign up asap, especially if you can drive or translate, we will be needing your help! Due to the nature of this trip, we ask that you please not sign up unless you are sure you can attend.
