Hey Sammers, I hope you all are having a wonderful new year and a pleasant first couple weeks of the quarter. Every year, we celebrate the holiday of Tres Reyes with the El Testerazo commmunity. We distribute numerous donations of all kinds on this day as well as holiday gifts to the many children of our clinic, all in addition to normal medical and dental clinic activities. Hey Flying Samaritans Members, The 2009-2010 Flying Samaritans Snow Trip details are finalized ready to go! The trip will take place from January 8, 2010 to January 10, 2010 (2 nights). We will be leaving for Big Bear together Friday afternoon, hitting the slopes all day Saturday, and returning to Irvine Sunday morning. An incentive (not having to pay for gas) is provided to encourage volunteers to drive. Our cabin is located just up Summit Road near the lake and within walking distance to Snow Summit. If... more

Good news everybody: our clinic will be reopened soon! Some board members will be stopping by our clinic on June 20th to notify the locals about our next scheduled club trip on July 18th. Even though we’re on summer break, we’ll still be making regular trips down every month. Everyone is welcome to apply for the July trip once the application window opens. The year is almost coming to an end, can you believe it? So as we said at the last meeting, our spring quarter yard sale is coming up this Saturday, May 30th.
